What the project does:


  1. - It renovates the Academy Building

  2. - It provides accessibility and egress requirements to the Academy Building

  3. - It provides extensive insulation and detailing to enhance the utility and durability of the Academy building

  4. - It renovates the lower level of the Annex for LockerRooms, Fitness and a Boiler room.

  5. - It provides a new biomass boiler system which will replace the existing boilers in the Academy, the Annex, and Minden. It also will supply heat to the gym and music room.


The project does not include the following:

  1. -  It does not renovate the gym

  2. -  It does not renovate Minden (except to provide heat source as noted above)

  3. -  It does not qualify for state aid

  4. -  It does not move the IA functions or the elementary school.

  5. -  There is no consolidation of facilities, nor any construction on Dustan Field.
